World Rabies Day 2025
It’s Time to Act Now

Toward a Rabies-Free Uganda

Together, we can make Uganda rabies-free one pet, one family, one community at a time. This September, as part of World Rabies Day, Uniquely Paws is joining national efforts to protect dogs, cats, and the people who love them by offering free vaccination clinics that keep families safe, school outreach programs that teach children how to care for and protect animals, and community education that spreads awareness and prevents needless deaths. Your donation fuels these life-saving actions, turning compassion into protection and bringing us closer to a future where no Ugandan family has to suffer the loss of a loved one to rabies.

What Your Donation Makes Possible

With every contribution, you help Uniquely Paws run free community clinics, provide life-saving rabies vaccines for pets, and bring vital education to schools so children learn how to stay safe around animals. Be a Pet Hero — protect families, save pets, and stop rabies in Uganda.

Vaccinate a Pet

With just a small donation, you cover the cost of a rabies vaccine, syringe, and safe administration for one dog or cat. This protects not only the pet but also the family and community from potential rabies exposure.

Fuel a Pet Clinic Day

Your donation supports all the behind‑the‑scenes logistics that make a single clinic possible transport of medical teams, rental of cold‑chain equipment to keep vaccines potent, set‑up of tents/tables, and local mobilization through flyers and announcements.

Empower School Outreach

Donations provide printed posters, colorful teaching packs, activity sheets, and take‑home guides for learners. These materials help children understand rabies prevention, proper pet care, and how to encourage their families to vaccinate pets.

Meet Lucky & Victoria

Victoria’s little puppy, Lucky, once wandered the neighborhood without any protection. Like many pets in her community, Lucky had never received a rabies vaccine, leaving both the puppy and Victoria’s family at risk.

When Uniquely Paws held a free community clinic nearby, everything changed. Lucky was safely vaccinated, given a protective yellow collar, and registered as part of a healthier future. Now, Victoria doesn’t just feel relief—she feels empowered. She tells her neighbors with pride:
“Vaccinating is how we truly love and protect our pets.”

Every donation to Uniquely Paws helps create stories like Victoria and Lucky’s moments of safety, hope, and life-saving change for families and their animals across Uganda.

Your gift means more vaccinated pets, more protected families, and more communities free from rabies.
